Ross Moseley

Ross is a third year medical student (class of 2028) planning to apply for Neurosurgery residency next year. Originally from New York City, he studied Biological Sciences with a Neuroscience focus in undergrad at Cornell University where he was a member of the varsity rowing team. His senior thesis investigated microtubule disarray following TBI in Drosophila (fruit flies). He then spent two years working in the Brain and Mind Research Institute at Weill Cornell Medicine before coming to University of Colorado Anschutz to pursue his MD. He has been a member of the N.E.R.D.CO lab since his first year of medical school and is currently most interested in and is investigating the role of single unit activity and beta local field potentials in basal ganglia circuits. He hopes to continue this research while pursuing a neurosurgical residency and onwards towards a career in academic neurosurgery.
